LOTTE LYON

Lotte Lyons artist book documents her photographical series, sculptural installations and drawings, from the last five years. Her work shows a formal tendency that she develops out of her daily experience. Her theme is the subversion of the classical ideal of fine art which presupposes a fixed and stable overview of the art object. Her work appears obvious at first glance, but becomes increasingly complex as one contemplates it, filling in the blanks carefully left open by the artist.
